Corporate Gifts Abroad: What different countries expect

When travelling to other countries to conduct business it’s important to be aware of international corporate generosity protocols. You should be aware what countries expect gifts upon the initial meeting, which ones expect a gift on upon a followup visit, and also the countries where it’s not expected to provide a corporate gift. Take a look at the table below so you’re prepared when traveling internationally. In a followup post we will focus on the types of international gifts that are appropriate.

Featured Award: Crystal Globe Paperweight

Although it’s simple, our flat-bottomed crystal globe isn’t your average crystal award. That’s because when you give it, you put the whole world in your award winner’s hands — literally and symbolically. With room for engravings in its oceans, this standalone globe is equally at home as a trophy in your trophy case or a paperweight on your desk.

Rec Source supplies awards for BPAA International Expo

Recognition Source recently supplied crystal bowling pins awards for the BPAA International Expo, an event that hosts bowling industry leaders from around the world. The event was hosted in Reno Nevada, often regarded as the bowling capital of the world, and coincided with 2012 Women’s Open, which can conducted outdoors for the first time, leaving the lady bowlers competing with wind and dust.

Our Precision Glass Engraving Process

Recognition Source’s on staff engravers take immense pride in producing deep, even engravings through sandcarving, or sandblasting, that produces highly detailed, deep-etched results that aren’t possible through lasers or automation. Our Dallas facility employs talented engravers that hand etch your design using high pressure sand particles in a controlled environment.

Hank Baskett Classic

A few weeks ago, The Recognition Source supplied the awards and trophies for the inaugural Hank Baskett Classic, a golf tournament in Rancho Palos Verdes, California at the Trump National Golf Club. The tournament, and related special events, all helped benefit the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation.
